Mary Ruth DODSON

Doyle, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Mary Ruth Dodson, age 72, was born July 4, 1938 and died April 21, 2011 at her residence. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of Friendship The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Adger L. and Connie L. Lawson Sullivan. She was married to William Frank Dodson who preceded her in death April 4, 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie William Dodson and brother, Donnie Sullivan. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Danny and Karen Dodson of Spencer, TN and Terry Dodson, Kathy and Glenn Bickford and John and Julie Dodson all of Bone Cave, TN; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, A.C. Sullivan of Cookeville, TN and three sisters, Evelyn Summerland of McMinnville, Gwyn Youngblood of Bone Cave, TN and Diane Gramaldi of Las Vegas, NV. A graveside service and interment was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Beech Cove Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with Steve Breedlove officiating.
