Karl Davis EARLE

August 24, 1927 — January 23, 2010

Brentwood, TN resident and Warren County native Karl Davis Earle, age 83, was born August 24, 1927 and died January 23, 2010 at Claiborne-Hughes Health Center in Franklin, TN following an extended illness. An industrial tire salesman, United States Navy veteran of WWII and member of the Hermitage Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Ralph Laverne and Minnie Floyd Smartt Earle. He was married December 10, 1948 to Doris Green Earle who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Morris and Harold Porter Earle and three brothers-in-law, Ernest Sharp, Joe Fisher and Casey Killian. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Don Young of Brentwood, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Christi Earle of Cleveland, TN; five grandchildren and their spouses, Nichole and Ben Perry of Nashville, TN, Carson Earle and Jackson Earle of Cleveland, TN, Matthew and Katherine Young of California and Jonathan and Kelley Young of St. Louis, MO; four great-granddaughters, Madeline, Megan, Marley and Blair Young; three sisters, Jacqueline Sharp of McMinnville, Charlene Killian of Beersheba Springs, TN and Sue Fisher of Nashville, TN; two brothers and sister-in-law, Ralph Allen and Sarah Earle of Wilmington, NC and Richard and Bobbie Earle of Huntsville, AL and thirty-six nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Central Church of Christ with Nestor Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Concord Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
