Leara Ann Cantrell EGGERT

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Leara Ann Cantrell Eggert, age 91, was born October 6, 1919 and died April 19, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was retired and was the daughter of the late Will and Minnie B. Dodson Cantrell. She was married to Joseph Eggert who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Wilma Dykes; brothers, Charlie Cantrell and James W. Cantrell; half-brother, Hershell Brown and half-sisters, Pearl Scott, Margaret Townsend and Eva Cantrell Miller. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, family members and friends including special nephew, Ernest J. Cantrell. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 in High's Chapel with Ernest Justin Cantrell and Cordell Dykes officiating. Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.
