Maxie Lee FARRIS

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Maxie Lee Farris, age 67, was born November 21, 1943 and died March 30, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. A lineman with TVA and United States Marines veteran, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Roseatt Farris. He was married to Latissua Kay McDonald Farris who preceded him in death March 28, 2010. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Farris. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Kirstian Farris of Crawfordville, FL and Tammy and Paul Yazdi of St. Louis, MO; step-daughter, Lisa Carmona of Bermuda Dunes, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kristy Farris of Nashville, GA; twelve grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law, J.P. and Linda Farris of Poulan, GA. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in High's Chapel with Charles Overton officiating.
