Jessie Officer FLYNT

Detroit, MI resident and Warren County native Jessie Officer Flynt, age 90, was born April 27, 1920 and died February 22, 2011 following a brief illness. A retired teacher, she was the daughter of the late Jess Officer and Mary Reasonover Miller. She was married to Harold Flynt who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Janice Flynt and Sharon and Willis Childress both of Detroit, MI and four grandchildren, Danel Flynt, Willis Childress, Jr., Bernard Childress and Bryan Childress. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in High's Chapel with Phillip Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
