Thelma L. Morrison FRAKES

McMinnville resident and Gideon, MO native Thelma L. Morrison Frakes, age 86, was born April 25, 1925 and died December 15, 2011 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A bookkeeper and real estate agent and member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lester J. and Martha E. Armour Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Freddy Frakes. She was married to Al Frakes, Sr. of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, James and Darlene Morrison of Clarksdale, MS; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Jessie Ybarra of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Martha Morris and Norma Deason both of McMinnville; son, Al Frakes, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren, Brad Austin of Springfield, MO, Terry Austin of Arvada, CA and Dale Deason, Tim Deason, Kevin Deason, Lori Panter, Debbie Jennings and Jennifer Moore all of McMinnville; nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
