Knoxville, TN resident and Warren County native James Lewis Freeman, age 62, was born June 7, 1948 and died May 2, 2011 at Mercy Health St. Mary's in Knoxville, TN following an extended illness. A retired truck driver with Watkins Motor Lines and member of the Calvary Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Charles Lewis and Clara May Rogers Freeman. He was married November 1, 1975 to Cheryl Annette Southard Freeman who preceded him in death March 16, 2011. He is survived by three children and their spouses, John and Nicole Freeman of Manchester, TN, Josh and Brandy Freeman of Maryville, TN and Courtney Freeman of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Michael and Zack; sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Joe Hartman of Murfreesboro, TN and several nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in High's Chapel with Dan Riley officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High's.
