Jason Edward FREEMAN

McMinnville resident and Ft. Knox, KY native Jason Edward Freeman, age 35, was born September 27, 1975 and died February 11, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A roofer with Tim Rigsby Roofing and member of the Grace Tabernacle Church, he was the son of Robert and Dorothy Freeman of Rock Island, TN. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd "Bear" and Mildred Ruth Freeman; maternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Church and cousin, Jeremy Lee Freeman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Michael Andrew Freeman and Mattie Leigh Freeman both of McMinnville; wife, Angela McKnight of McMinnville; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Donna and Wayne Castle of Whitwell, TN and Tim and Angie McBride, Sandra Gum, Robert "Brother" and Laura Freeman, Jr. and Jennifer Freeman Acosta all of McMinnville; aunts and uncles, Ella Mae Jennings and Floyd and Emily Freeman both of McMinnville, Tony and Sheila Freeman of Manchester, TN, Ricky and Sandra Freeman of Smithville, TN and Lynn and Judy Freeman of Rock Island, TN; cousins, Dewayne Jennings of Smithville, TN and Nancy Ruth Freeman, Haley Jennings and Ethan Jennings all of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Vanessa, Stephanie, Cassandra, Madison, Blake, J.T., Cito, Trevan, Kaden, Jimmy, Brittni, Brianna, Ali and Connor; great-nephews, Destyn and Brentlee and several other cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in High's Chapel with Brian Koegler officiating. Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
