Buddy Murrell GREENE

McMinnville resident and Winchester, TN native Buddy Murrell Greene, age 75, was born August 11, 1935 and died March 6, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. An engineer at Formfit Rogers, United States Air Force veteran and member of the First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Sammie and Lucille McWhorter Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Robert Greene and Donald Franklin Greene. He was married September 21, 1987 to Theresa Sparks Greene of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Regina Greene of Boca Raton, FL; two grandchildren, Lindsay Duncan of Cleveland, TN and Grant Duncan of Boca Raton, FL; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Phillip Buckner, Nancy and David Bouldin and Martha and Brown Wilson all of McMinnville; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Greene of McMinnville and Jeannie Greene of DeFuniak Springs, FL; one great-grandchild, Oscar Waldron of Cleveland, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in High's Chapel with Paul Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
