Terry Lynn GRISSOM

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Terry Lynn Grissom, age 42, was born September 4, 1968 and died May 2, 2011 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The pastor of New Hope Church and owner of Palmer Nursery, he was the son of Gerald and Hazel Grissom of McMinnville. Terry was married December 30, 1986 to Laura Grissom of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four children, Coty Lynn Grissom, Kyle Isaiah Grissom, Levi Elijah Grissom and Grace Ann Grissom all of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald Wayne and Marlene Grissom of Spencer, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Hamm of Knoxville, TN; mother-in-law, Margaret Grissom of the Rocky River Community; sisters-in-law, Cindy Mathews and husband Shawn, Misty Grissom and Melinda Grissom all of Rock Island, TN and several loved ones, friends and church family. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 in High's Chapel with Johnny Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Friday at High's.
