SR., Floyd Merle GRIZZELL

Old Hickory, TN resident and Warren County native Floyd Merle Grizzell, Sr., age 85, was born July 15, 1926 and died November 3, 2011 at Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a lengthy illness. A nursery broker and member of the Old Hickory Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Isaac John and Julia Ann Sanders Grizzell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Christopher Grizzell. He is survived by four children, Karen Elaine Grizzell Waters of Knoxville, TN, Merle Grizzell of Franklin, TN, Paula Faye Grizzell DeMarini of Atlanta, GA and Gary Louis Grizzell of Cookeville, TN; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and twin brother, Lloyd Earl Grizzell of California. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Mt. View Cemetery with Don Loftis officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
