McMinnville resident and Warren County native Rosemary George Honeycutt, age 48, was born March 7, 1963 and died August 18, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A customer service manager at Wal-Mart and member of the Way of the Cross Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Willard and Enzie Naomi Hillis George. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William Luther and Emma Honeycutt. She was married September 16, 1981 to Jerry Wayne Honeycutt, Sr. of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Amanda (Mark Yates) Honeycutt and Emily (Jason) Sweatman both of McMinnville; son, J.W. (Brittany) Honeycutt of McMinnville; step-daughter, Kim (Stacey) Swann of Sparta, TN; eight grandchildren, Mandy Koontz, William Sweatman, Allison Sweatman, Jerry Honeycutt, III, Kaylee Honeycutt and Maranda Yates all of McMinnville and Ashley Waggoner and Nathan Waggoner both of Sparta, TN; great-grandson, Caleb Waggoner of Sparta, TN; two brothers, Dewey (Faye) George of Rock Island, TN and Travis (Debbie) George of McMinnville; two sisters, Brenda (Steve) Walker of Campaign, TN and Vickie (Carl) White of Bone Cave, TN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many friends. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 in High's Chapel with Ray Skyles officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
