Herbert Cass H.C HUDSON

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Herbert Cass "H.C." Hudson, age 77, was born October 20, 1934 and died December 20, 2011 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a one-year illness. A retired employee of Cadillac Motor Cars (General Motors) and life-long member of Bethany Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Jess and Mai Ramsey Hudson. He was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard. He was married October 23, 1954 to Margaret Lucille Black Hudson who preceded him in death March 30, 2011. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T., Carl Gene and Edward Hudson and special brother-in-law, Benny Black. He is survived by three children, Carol (Mike) Neal of McMinnville, Mark C. Hudson of Nashville, TN and Karen "Cricket" Hudson of York, PA; two grandchildren Dana Neal (Ben) Cheng of Nashville, TN and Jared Neal of Johnson City, TN; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Jewel Taylor of Smyrna, TN, Irene Deberry and Bobbie Sue and Freddy Powell both of McMinnville, Helen and Dick Harrell of Manchester, TN; special friend, David Simmons of Spencer, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 in High's Chapel with David Costello officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heritage Alliance Museum both c/o High's.
