Bill Ervin HULLETT

Morrison, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Bill Ervin Hullett, age 80, was born July 7, 1931 and died November 14, 2011 at his residence following a three-month illness. A retired farmer and United States Army veteran of Korea, he was the son of the late Hobert and Emma Ervin Hullett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Layne Hullett; two sisters, Florene Hullett and Lorene Hagood and brother, Earl Hullett. He was married December 28, 1954 to Emma Jean Youngblood Hullett of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Steve and Lola Hullett of Cookeville, TN, Danny and Sherry Hullett of McMinnville and Ann and Mark Kirby of Morrison, TN; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Hullett of Manchester, TN and Charles Hullett of Morrison, TN; sister, Hilda Rabb of Sanford, NC; sister-in-law, Virginia Hullett of Manchester, TN; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Buddy and Linda Grimes and Billy and Cynthia Travis both of Southside, TN, Margaret Cathey of Morrison, TN and Robert and Faye Kirby of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Stroud Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
