SR., Larry David KEY

McMinnville resident and Overton County, TN native Larry David Key, Sr., age 71, was born September 3, 1939 and died February 16, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired construction worker and member of Living Word Fellowship Church, he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Ova Padgett Key. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Louzona Conley Key; brother, Kenneth Key; brother-in-law, Bill Holloway; two grandchildren, Gerald Cowan and Jacqueline Denise Cowan and two sons-in-law, Robert D. Forth and David Cowan. He was married to Robbie Goodwin Key of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children and their spouses, Annette Walls, Terisia Williams and Ova Key all of McMinnville, Jacqueline and Billy Gennings of Rock Island, TN, Larry David Key, Jr. and Joy and Henry "Champ" Key and Billy Key both of Campaign, TN; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Holloway of Cookeville, TN and Peggy Buckner of Antioch, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 in High's Chapel with Jim Zlaten and David Gann officiating. Burial followed in the New Union Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
