Harvey Benjamin Ben LOWRY

McMinnville resident and Coffee County, TN native Harvey Benjamin "Ben" Lowry, age 72, was born February 22, 1939 and died October 3, 2011 at his residence. A retired employee of ABC Plumbing and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Clemmie Youngblood Lowry Patrick of McMinnville and the late Algeron Lowry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Julian and Virginia Mae Klassy and four brothers, Franklin, Waymon, J.W. and Roger Lowry. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Delena Gabel of California; son, Kenneth Lowry of Colorado; brother, Howard Lowry of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN with Brandon Lowry and Slayden Rogers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East End Church of Christ, 102 Edison St., McMinnville, TN 37110.
