Paul Hershel MEEKS

Morrison, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Paul Hershel Meeks, age 82, was born October 2, 1929 and died December 26, 2011 at his residence following a short illness. A retired driver with VanHooser Trucking Company and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, he was the son of the late Herman and Anna Meeks. He was married to Shirley Sunderman Meeks of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children and their spouses, Penny Bryant and Freda and Michael Peterson both of Virginia; Deeann and Wayne Dyer; Paul Edward Meeks of McMinnville and Michelle and Darius Elliott and Kimberly and Jim Pruitt both of Morrison, TN; eighteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Harley Roth officiating.
