Dorothy Jean MOORE

East Ridge, TN resident and Warren County native Dorothy Jean Moore, age 77, was born November 22, 1934 and died December 2, 2011 at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN following a three-month illness. A homemaker and member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Charley and Catherine Blanks Pistole. She was married January 15, 1956 to David E. Moore of Chattanooga, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Polly Moore of Knoxville, TN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dani and Larry Atchley of Chickamauga, GA and DeAnna and Chris Copeland of Harriman, TN; six grandchildren, Makenzey and Mikayla Moore, Lief and Rachel Atchley and Allie and Myia Copeland; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Marion Smith of Ft. Myers, FL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Lanny Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
