Mildred Pauline MYERS

McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Mildred Pauline Myers, age 82, was born November 23, 1928 and died April 18, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Genesco and Aquatech and member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Bush and Nora Hollis. She was married to Lanis Jack Myers who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Wayne Myers; sister, Grace Bush and two brothers, Thomas John Bush and Leonard Bush. Mrs. Myers is survived by nine children and their spouses, Mary Frances Neal, Daisy Woodside, Lucy and Gary Webster, Tony and Brenda Myers, Patsy and Mickey Davis, David Myers and Louise McCormick all of McMinnville and Nora and Johnny Haston and Peggy Byars both of Rock Island, TN; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sue and Ralph Taylor of Woodbury, TN and Dean Summers of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Kenneth Bush of Woodbury, TN and Jessie Bush of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
