Sandra Jean NEER

McMinnville resident and Tiffin, OH native Sandra Jean Neer, age 73, was born November 18, 1937 and died November 2, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following a brief illness. A retired civil service worker at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and member of Lawrenceville United Church of Christ in Lawrenceville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Carl A. and Thelma Ringle Fredritz. Mrs. Neer volunteered many hours in school band and drum corps and was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Fredritz and son, David Allen Neer. She was married to Bob Neer of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Deborah and Mark Hill of Shelbyville, TN, Stephen and Kathy Neer of Gainesboro, TN, Dennis and Jeanie Neer of Ortonville, MI and Cassandra and Bob Ballengee of Marion, VA and nine grandchildren, Rachel Neer, Stephanie Neer, Amanda Neer, Emily Neer, Keith Neer, Jimmy Neer, Christina Ballengee, Ashley Ballengee and Tyler Ballengee. A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 in High's Chapel with Glenn Chapman officiating.
