Granville Leon ORRICK

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Granville Leon Orrick, age 86, was born May 17, 1924 and died February 10, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired barber of fifty-eight years, United States Marine veteran of WWII and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Doyle and Agnes Swanger Orrick. He was married to Macon Lee "Bill" Orrick who preceded him in death January 6, 2010. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Willard Orrick and half-sister, Willene Gibbs. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Al Brady of McMinnville; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Logan Brady and Cody and Christy Brady both of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Paislee Jolene Brady of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Everage "Pee Wee" and Betty Orrick of Indianapolis, IN; niece, Barbara Orrick of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Cornelia Orrick of McMinnville; step-brother, Rayford Davis and wife Hannah of McMinnville; two nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at Hopewell Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Full military honors were administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
