Lena Estelle Stacy PANTER

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Lena Estelle Stacy Panter, age 85, was born May 11, 1926 and died July 17, 2011 at her residence following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lee Grover and Minnie Griffin Stacy. She was married to Leslie "Jack" Panter who preceded her in death August 29, 1987. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Richard Reed of McMinnville and Connie and Gary Woodlee of Morrison, TN; five grandchildren, Brian Reed, Candice King, Stephanie Simerly, Stacy Woodlee and Shaun Woodlee all of McMinnville and six great-grandchildren, Chelsey Simerly, Alex Reed, Andi Reed, Tori Woodlee, Tyla Woodlee, Ava King (and Layla Woodlee, on the way). Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in High's Chapel with Kevin Key and Garland Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Hills Creek Cemetery.
