Elsie Louise Campbell Pennington PELLUM

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Elsie Louise Campbell Pennington Pellum, age 83, was born February 19, 1928 and died September 5, 2011 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired employee of Genesco and member of Caney Branch Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Georgia Pearl Crawley Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thurston A. Pennington and Boyd R. Pellum and one son, Gary Pennington. She is survived by one step-son, Larry Pellum of Indianapolis, IN; two step-daughters, Marsha Pellum of Indianapolis, IN and Donna Rae Pellum of Washington, D.C; two brothers, Donald Campbell of McMinnville and Dawson (Evie) Campbell of Morrison, TN; two grandchildren and one step-grandchild. A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Caney Branch Cemetery with Roger Comstock officiating.
