McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Haskell Pendleton, age 80, was born February 19, 1931 and died April 9, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired contractor with Boyd Brothers Nursery and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served as an elder, he was the son of the late Charlie and Ella Etta Pelham Pendleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thurman Pendleton and four sisters and brothers-in-law, Minnie Pendleton, Myrtle Pendleton, Estell and F.C. Hillis and Clata and Jessie Turner. He is survived by two brothers, Roy and Ralph Pendleton both of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Austin King and Evelyn and Cecil King both of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in High's Chapel with Michael Weeter, Marcus King and Tim King officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
