McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joetta Wiseman Pepper, age 80, was born February 23, 1931 and died October 22, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Maxwell Wiseman. She was married June 28, 1947 to Leonard Francis Pepper who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Wayne Pepper; brothers, Earl, Jewell, Waymon and Hugh Wiseman and sisters, Mary Ellen Wiseman and Wilma Pepper. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Gewanda and Jerry Fults of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Agnes Pepper of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Killian and Irene Wilson both of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Eva Lois Wiseman of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 in High's Chapel with David Costello and Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
