Everett PRITCHETT

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Everett Pritchett, age 71, was born June 16, 1939 and died April 16, 2011 at his residence following a one-year illness. A computer technician with Compro, United States Navy veteran and member of the Dayspring Community Church, he was the son of the late Judd Pritchett and Lorene Sanders Valimont. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Charles and Kenneth Valimont. He was married March 25, 1959 to Beatrice Pritchett of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Lisa Pritchett and Duane and Sherry Pritchett both of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Heather Deskins and Cody Pritchett both of Smyrna, TN and Laura (Jonathan) Barnes, Evan Pritchett and Samantha Pritchett all of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren, Destiny and Jaiden Deskins; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Connie Beck of Titusville, FL and sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jacob Ellis of Guntersville, AL. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles and Jonathan Barnes officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
