Wanda May Harbaum QUALLS

Morrison, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Wanda May Harbaum Qualls, age 75, was born April 25, 1936 and died June 28, 2011 at Alive Hospice @ St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A caregiver to the elderly and sick and member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Sophie Blanche Zmuda Harbaum. She was married to Herman Odell Qualls who preceded her in death October 9, 2004. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Cheryl Lynn and James Scodellaro and Robert Herman Qualls both of Woodhaven, MI, James Alan and Ada Qualls of Morrison, TN, Dan Charles and Regina Qualls of Rock Island, TN, Dawn Marie and Marc DeBlois of Dearborn, MI and Edwin Lee and Carole Qualls and Johnny Dean and Joyce Qualls both of Lincoln Park, MI; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adeline Masta of Bitely, MI and Linda Martin of Lincoln Park, MI; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Lawson Qualls of Morrison, TN, Izetta Inez Qualls of McMinnville, Doretha Qualls of Lincoln Park, MI and Marcella Qualls Cox of Munfordville, KY; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 in High's Chapel with Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
