Louise W. REED

McMinnville resident and Niota, TN native Louise W. Reed, age 90, was born September 8, 1920 and died March 31, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. The retired owner of Reed's Grocery, she was the daughter of the late W.C. and Grave Guffey Willis. She was married to Nile R. Reed who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Reed and grandson, Troy Reno. She is survived by three children, Robert J. Reed and wife Sara of Smithville, TN and Charlotte Reno and husband Archie and Gary R. Reed both of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren and brother, W.C. Willis of Athens, TN. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in High's Parlor with David Gann officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
