Lorene Denton Gregory ROBBINS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lorene Denton Gregory Robbins, age 91, was born February 16, 1920 and died October 27, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textile Company and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Green and Bessie Darnell Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, J.T. Christian and George Gregory; grandsons, Timothy Gregory and David Adcock; sisters, Georgia May Denton, Ruth Stroud and Faye Tolbert and brother, James "Jim" Denton. She is survived by three children, Sharon Anderson of McMinnville, Frank Gregory of Murfreesboro, TN and Kenneth Gregory of White County, TN; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 in High's Chapel with Stan Stevenson, Lane Dix and Brian Gregory officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
