James Dalton ROLLINGS

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native James Dalton Rollings, age 69, was born September 4, 1941 and died March 5, 2011 at his residence following a brief illness. An employee of McMinnville Radiator and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late James and Irene Myers Rollings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Marty Rollings; daughter, Charlotte Rollings; brother, J.B. Rollings; half-brothers, Beecher Myers and Sammy Rollings and step-father, George Myers. He was married February 25, 1960 to Geneva Lynn Rollings of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bruce McGuire of McMinnville; granddaughter, Crystal Hill and husband Jason of Cookeville, TN; grandson, Jarrett McGuire of McMinnville; very special great-granddaughter, Americus McGuire of McMinnville; three half-brothers and their spouses, Arthur L. and Norma Myers of McMinnville and Johnny and Mary Rollings and Dwight Rollings both of Scottsboro, AL and half-sister, Georgie Baldwin and husband George of Summitville, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Smyrna Cemetery with Bobby Muncey officiating.
