JR., Eugene RUTLEDGE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Eugene Rutledge, Jr., age 75, was born April 17, 1936 and died August 10, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A logger and member of the Laurel Creek Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Eugene and Iris Lucille McCormick Rutledge, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Armstrong and brother, Jerry Rutledge. He is survived by two brothers, Billy Rutledge and George Edward Rutledge both of McMinnville; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Gerald Rowland and Patricia and Fred Ticer both of McMinnville; Kathleen Randolph of Sparta, TN; Ruby and Harry Cole of Walling, TN and Linda and Donald Huffman of Swansboro, NC; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 in High's Chapel with Roy Terry officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
