SR., Jerry Richard RUTLEDGE

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Jerry Richard Rutledge, Sr., age 58, was born March 29, 1953 and died July 12, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. Mr. Rutledge was the son of the late Eugene and Iris Lucille McCormick Rutledge, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Armstrong. He is survived by one son, Jerry Richard Rutledge, Jr. of McMinnville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene Rutledge, Jr., Billy Rutledge and George Edward Rutledge all of McMinnville; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Gerald Rowland and Patricia and Fred Ticer both of McMinnville, Kathleen Randolph of Sparta, TN, Ruby and Harry Cole of Walling, TN and Linda and Donald Huffman of Swansboro, NC; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and special friend, Lois Rutledge Milligan of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 in High's Chapel with Roy Terry officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
