Annie Beatrice SCOTT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Annie Beatrice Scott, age 93, was born December 8, 1917 and died November 2, 2011 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Martha Elliott. She was married August 26, 1931 to Marshall Scott who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Scott; son-in-law, Jewell "Ted" Snider; grandson, Johnny Snider; granddaughter, Diane Luna and great-great-granddaughter, Emily Leigh Scott. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lincoln and Betty Scott of McMinnville; daughter, Beatrice Snider of McMinnville; five grandsons and their spouses, Joe and Freda Scott of Rock Island, TN and Ricky Scott, Terry "Buster" Scott, Brent Scott and Trent Scott all of McMinnville; three granddaughters, Phyllis Snider and Darlene Scott both of McMinnville and Dana and Brandon Vaughn of Jacksonville, FL; fourteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
