Steve Wayne SCOTT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Steve Wayne Scott, age 57, was born October 20, 1953 and died August 2, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. The owner of Green Valley Nursery and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Jean Scott of McMinnville and the late Osban Scott. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Jeanann Scott of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Sheila Scott of McMinnville; three nieces, one nephew and two great-nephews and aunts and uncles, Wilma Smartt, H.B. and Joyce Scott, Priceford Scott and Estelle Roberts all of McMinnville, Abedine and Rachel Scott of Beersheba Springs, TN and Randall Scott of Grundy County, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Gardens of Memory with Carson Rust officiating.
