Caroline Rhea SMITH

Antioch, TN resident and Davidson County, TN native Caroline Rhea Smith, age 30, was born June 5, 1981 and died December 16, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. She was the daughter of Bee Bragg Pettersen of Nashville, TN and the late James F. Smith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas F. Bragg. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Benjamin J. Smith of Smyrna, TN; step-father, William R. Pettersen of Nashville, TN; grandmother, Janie R. Bragg of McMinnville; uncles and aunts, Jay and Lynn Bragg and their children D'ann and Alex of McMinnville and McQuiddy and Beth Bragg of Nashville, TN. A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Mt. View Cemetery with The Reverend Dr. Bude Van Dyke officiating.
