Grace Dale SWIDER

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Warren County native Grace Dale Swider, age 76, was born June 8, 1934 and died June 5, 2011 at NHC Healthcare Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of Stauffer Chemical, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie Pitterd Tenpenny. She was married to Alfred Swider who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Tenpenny and brother, James Tenpenny. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Jeff and Rhonda Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, TN and Shannon and John McFarlin of Lascassas, TN; four grandchildren, Rachel Tenpenny and Brett Tenpenny both of Murfreesboro, TN and Andrew McFarlin and James McFarlin both of Lascassas, TN; sister, Dorothy Reed of McMinnville and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Liberty Cemetery with Jeff Tenpenny officiating.
