Robert Leslie TATE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Robert Leslie Tate, age 65, was born March 20, 1946 and died June 4, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A former employee of Powermatic and member of the Hiawassee Church of Christ, he was the son of Frances Melton & Jimmy Hudson of McMinnville and the late Leslie A. Tate. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Williamson Tate and son, Joey Tate. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Leslie Forsyth and Felicia Tate both of McMinnville; grandson, Nathan Forsyth and special friend Barbara Webster. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Grange Hall Cemetery with George King officiating.
