Daniel Jay TILTON

McMinnville resident and Tecumseh, MI native Daniel Jay Tilton, age 52, was born August 11, 1959 and died December 12, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. The co-owner of Timeout Sports Bar and manager for Dependable Brakes, he was the son of Lois Tilton of McMinnville and the late William E. Tilton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Tilton and sister-in-law, Debbie Tilton. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Jonie Tilton of Nashville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Gena Tilton of McMinnville; three nephews, Steve Tilton and wife Adrienne of Takoma Park, MD and Kaleb and Nick Tilton both of McMinnville; special sister-in-law, Paula Patteuw and husband Bill of Adrian, MI and numerous other nieces, nephews and family members. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the home of his brother at 112 Ben Lomand Drive, McMinnville, TN. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
