Barbara Marie TITTSWORTH

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Barbara Marie Tittsworth, age 86, was born October 14, 1924 and died July 7, 2011 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late R.J. and Dovie Young Rains. She was married sixty-four years to Everett T. Tittsworth who preceded her in death January 10, 2010. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Grady, R.K., Bernice and Lloyd Rains and three sisters, Pauline Hall, Ethel Lorance and Irene Hall. She is survived by one brother, Leonard Rains of McMinnville; sister, Ann Stevens of McMinnville; nieces, Jean Taylor of McMinnville, Sarah Clark of Indiana, Virginia Davis of Clearwater, FL, Sherry Kirby of Murfreesboro, TN and Cindy Therrin of Maine; nephews, Jeffery Stevens of McMinnville, Eddie Rains of Nashville, TN, Danny Lorance of Indiana and John Curtis Rains of Manchester, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 in High's Chapel with Bob Deason officiating. Burial followed in the Centertown Cemetery.
