Jerry David WANAMAKER

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Jerry David Wanamaker, age 71, was born July 20, 1939 and died January 10, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Electric System and member of the Arlington Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Malcolm Ray and Mae Emma Coppinger Wanamaker. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Jimmy Evans of McMinnville; son, Kenneth Wanamaker of McMinnville; grandson, Jamie Evans of McMinnville; three sisters, Joann Bishop of Hazel Green, AL and Rachel Birdwell of McMinnville and Linda Wanamaker of Nashville, TN; brother, Bennett Wanamaker of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 in High's Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Philadelphia Cemetery.
