Fannie Louise WILLIAMS

McMinnville resident and Unionville, TN native Fannie Louise Williams, age 78, was born February 14, 1933 and died December 19, 2011 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired teacher at Hickory Creek Elementary School and member of the First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Lee and Rose Tatum Wheeler. She was married to Willard Foster Williams who preceded her in death in 1989. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sybil Williams, Annie Lous Sims and Carrie Mae Wright and nephew, Jerry Sims. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Katrina Ann and Jimmy Haley of McMinnville; son, Willard David Williams of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Lara Kate Haley of McMinnville; two nieces, Patsy Taylor of Shelbyville, TN and Linda Basham of Crestview, FL and nephew, Joe Williams of Cashiers, NC. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Mt. View Cemetery with Bob Case officiating.
