Etheleon Jones WILLIAMSON

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Etheleon Jones Williamson, age 94, was born December 25, 1916 and died March 5, 2011 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired employee of Genesco and member of the Locust Street Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Jesse P. and Roshie Marsh Jones. She was married to Alfred Williamson who preceded her in death March 14, 1982. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty G. Smith; son, Ray E. Williamson; brother, Arthur Jones and two sisters, Atha Davenport and Artha Hollandsworth. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Betty Williamson and Freddy Williamson both of McMinnville and Doyal and Pat Williamson of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; very special twin sister, Opheleon Williamson of McMinnville; daughter-in-law, Mary Williamson of McMinnville and sister-in-law, Ella Mae Jones of Smithville, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Mt. View Cemetery with Roland Sharp officiating.
