Michael Paul YOUNGLOVE

Michael Paul Younglove passed from this life on January 6, 2011 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN, following an extended illness. Mike was born on October 14, 1951 in Puerto Rico Most of his youth was spent in upstate New York before the family moved to McMinnville, TN in 1968 with the Carrier Corp. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Seward Younglove, and is survived by his mother Muriel Younglove Brown formerly of McMinnville who now resides in High Point, NC. His immediate family includes his wife of thirty-three years Evelyn Roberts Younglove, son Justin & wife Sigourney Younglove of Joelton, TN, daughter Sheli & husband Devin Mason of McMinnville & son Dylan Younglove of McMinnville. He was ?Ol-fa? to his three wonderful grandchildren Hannah Mason, Gavin Mason, & Journey Younglove. Additional family members include brothers Robert & Kay Younglove of Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey & Tammy Younglove of Bowling Green, KY, sisters Lori & Jeffrey Marsh of Knoxville, TN, and Judith & Alan Patterson of Highpoint, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church of McMinnville. Prior to his illness he was a self-employed masonry artisan who?s exceptional talents may be seen throughout Tennessee & Texas. He also worked with Shade Tree Repairs in Rock Island, TN. Mike was known for his work hard / play hard life style. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his close friends and family. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for a celebration of life service for loved ones who wished to participate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First National Bank McMinnville to assist the family with medical expenses. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Alvin C. York V. A. Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mike during his lengthy illness.
