Alma Lee ARGO

Jacksboro, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Alma Lee Argo, age 90, was born May 14, 1922 and died June 22, 2012 at Tennova Healthcare in LaFollette, TN following an extended illness. A retired factory worker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ermon Roberts Curtis. She was married to Murphy Argo who preceded her in death June 8, 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Allene Evans and Margaret Fay Edwards. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Don McDaniel of Jacksboro, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Murphy and Debbye Argo of Sparta, TN; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Curtis of Nashville, TN and two sisters, Jessie Rhea Wheeler of Dayton, OH and Helen Curtis of Spencer, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Molloy Cemetery in Spencer, TN.
