Don Roy ATNIP

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Don Roy Atnip died January 29, 2012 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN following a sudden illness. A self-employed heavy equipment operator and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late General Thomas and Katie Margaret Griffin Atnip. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Jr. Atnip. He is survived by one daughter, Lynn Martin of Spencer, TN; three grandchildren, Cassie Hodge, Amanda Martin and Freddie Martin and three great-grandchildren, Liberty Hodge, Antha Lynn Hodge and Nevaeh Martin. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in High's Chapel with Charlie Heaph officiating. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery.
