SR., Jerry Lee BAKER

Morrison, TN resident and Peoria, IL native Jerry Lee Baker, Sr., age 60, was born December 27, 1951 and died April 30, 2012 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A retired employee of DeZurik Corporation and member of Dayspring Community Church, he was the son of the late Oscar Dillard and Lotel Marie Grissom Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Baker. He was married February 27, 1993 to Betty Evans Baker of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children and their spouses, Jay and Sabrina Baker of Sparta, TN, Anna and Matt Sands of Hermitage, TN, Amy Baker of Indianapolis, IN, Josh and Monica Baker of Morrison, TN, Ron and Teresa Evans of Clearwater, FL and Tammy and Rodger Byars of McMinnville; twelve grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Joann Baker of Spencer, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles officiating. Burial followed in the Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
