Virginia West BECKWITH

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Virginia West Beckwith, age 78, was born July 27, 1934 and died January 6, 2012 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A library aid with Warren County School System and member of First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Hester L. and Daisy Cantrell West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, I.D. West; sister, Willie Mae "Bill" Cates and great-grandson, Dax. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Camille Beckwith of Murfreesboro, TN and Ken Beckwith of McMinnville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sister, Mary Curtis and Helen Martin both of McMinnville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Luther and Betty West of McMinnville and Tom West of Huntsville, AL and several nieces and nephews. Per Virginia's request, her body was donated to forensic science and no service are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to Project Rescue, 179 Cave Springs Rd., Decatur, AL 35603.
