David Wilson BISHOP

Huntsville, AL resident and Madison County, AL native David Wilson Bishop, age 84, was born July 19, 1927 and died February 21, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital. A retired employee of Chrysler Corporation and an avid volunteer with the Huntsville Senior Citizens and the Miracle League, he was the son of the late Horace and Mary Elizabeth Moss Bishop. He was married to Margaret Earline "Sue" Bishop who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Robert and Charles Bishop; one sister, Pauline Delong and half-brother, Edgar Holman. He is survived by two sons, Buddy and Marc Bishop both of Huntsville, AL; three daughters, Darlene Elkins and Rhonda Hill both of Huntsville, AL and Annette Edger of Madison, AL; two sisters, Ruby Bishop of Akron, OH and Laurine Rice of Tennessee and ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 in High's Chapel with Patrick Johnson and Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
