Russell JOHNSON

Rock Island, TN resident and White County, TN native Russell Johnson, age 54, was born April 11, 1958 and died June 11, 2012 at his daughter's residence following an extended illness. A truck driver for Hillis Trucking Company and a member of the First Assembly of God, he was the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Hale Johnson. He is survived by daughter, Angelia McCarver of Rock Island, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Stacy Johnson of Rock Island, TN; five grandchildren, Trey Cole, Brianna Richardson, Allison McCarver, Will McCarver and Angela Barnes; two sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Johnson of Rock Island, TN and Elizabeth and Glenn Lancaster of Madison, TN and nephews, Terry Lancaster and wife Mary and Jeff Lancaster and wife Shannon. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 in High's Chapel with Sammy Lee and Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery.
