Howard Truman LOWRY

McMinnville resident and Coffee County, TN native Howard Truman Lowry, age 67, was born October 29, 1944 and died March 24, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, TN following a sudden illness. An employee of Roadway Express, he was the son of Clemmie Lowry Patrick of McMinnville and the late Algernon Lowry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Julian; two brothers, Franklin Lowry and Benjamin Lowry; half-sister, Virginia Mae Klassy and three half-brothers, Roger Lowry, Waymon Lowry and J.W. Lowry. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Brandon Howard and wife Dr. Allison Trevathan Lowry of Chattanooga, TN and Dawn Lowry Wanamaker and husband Greg Wanamaker of McMinnville; grandchildren, Ashlin Lowry, Alex Lowry, Katie Wanamaker, Logan Wanamaker and Marah Wanamaker and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 in High's Chapel with Brandon Lowry and Slayden Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
